Following a period of continued growth, Zenith Technologies this week welcomed its largest ever graduate intake at its Cork HQ as part of its goal to support the engineering talent of the future.
Over 30 graduates from across Ireland, UK, U.S. and Singapore will take part in a 2-week intensive induction programme that will help them discover more about the business and provide hands-on training relevant to their new roles.
This is then followed by a 6-week mentoring session where all graduates are put through their paces on a dummy site implementation project. This ambitious programme sets to prepare them for working on real life projects. Graduates will manage projects from start to finish, working to identify customer issues and selecting the appropriate technological solutions to overcome these.

Shea Fahy, HR director at Zenith commented: “It is well documented that the engineering skills gap has had an impact on the manufacturing industry. Recruiting skilled and experienced staff is important for the future of our business and we’re proud that our one-year graduate programme addresses this skills gap head on, supporting the talent of the future.
“Gaining practical experience in a professional environment is invaluable and will allow our graduates to develop the relevant skills and abilities required to work within both the life sciences sector and the engineering industry more generally.”
The graduate opportunities at Zenith vary from process and chemical engineering to electrical and control engineering, with the majority of roles focusing on our manufacturing execution system (MES) and automation offering. This hands-on training programme will enable new employees to immerse themselves in their new environment, while receiving support from experienced engineers, helping them to become the business leaders of the future.
Hosting the induction at the Cork HQ is also a great opportunity for the new cohort to network with each other and senior managers, fostering collaboration and integration between global offices.
“Over the years we have worked hard to build up a reputation as a trusted technology partner in the life science sector; we have been able to achieve this through an effective recruitment strategy that places emphasis on our brand values and vision for the business. Our graduates can experience working with some of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world across multiple geographic regions, all the time enhancing their engineering skillset.”
“We have experienced a period of exceptional growth in recent years, making it an exciting time to join the business. In fact, by the end of this year, we expect to have doubled our headcount from 2014,” Fahy continued.
We wish our new graduates the best of luck in their new roles.
