On Wednesday 5 June, we held our Life Science Partner Forum at Páirc Uí Chaoimh in Cork. The event brought together some of the brightest minds in the industry to discuss the challenges, drivers and aspirations of life science manufacturing in 2019 and beyond. Some of our key customers joined together to share knowledge, network and discuss innovative ways of sustaining operations. We were pleased to welcome representatives from Janssen, Lilly, Novartis, Alexion, GE Healthcare, SK biopharmaceuticals, Pfizer and Biomarin.

This first of its kind event focused on; the importance of data analytics for new product introduction, Industry 4.0, MES, augmented reality and the next generation of services. With keynote speeches delivered by our very own European Director, Sean O’Connor, Director of Global Services, David Staunton and Global Data and Analytics Lead, Jacqueline Hora as well as other industry experts.

Sean O’Connor, European Director, states: “Rising industry pressures mean batches have to be produced quicker with the same levels of quality and compliance. Our customers recognise that to achieve these milestones data and industry 4.0 is critical. They have a vision for the future, and it was great to reflect upon this as a collective and have the opportunity to share our views altogether.”
Zenith received some great feedback from attendees who said it gave them a real insight into the latest developments and trends in the industry. We were also able to facilitate the opportunity to share common challenges and solutions with like-minded peers.

Life Science Partner ForumCommenting on the success of the event Sean O’Connor notes: “Our business has expanded significantly in recent years and it was great to bring some of our core customers together in Ireland to share knowledge and collaborate. We are keen to bring our managed service up to the next level, focused on delivering value in terms of data utilisation, and getting KPIs into a centralised place. Events such as this enable us to focus on what value-added activities are important to our customers. It helps direct our delivery of services and aligns our focus to that of our customers’ needs.”

Thanks to all those who attended our Life Science Partner Forum event – we look forward to seeing you again at our future events!
