Twenty organisations from the private, public and SME sectors gathered at NSAI (National Standards Authority of Ireland) offices in Dublin this week for a special ceremony marking their achievement in becoming certified to world class business standards.

All of the businesses and bodies that achieved certification were independently audited by NSAI inspectors in order to ensure they complied with the international standards.

The certification is a recognition of the work and effort Zenith Technologies, a Cognizant Company, has put in and underlines their commitment to working towards best practice.

The ISO management system approach and certification helps Zenith Technologies to achieve strategic objectives by:

  • Improving compliance with privacy regulations and best practices
  • Enhancing the company’s reputation for information security with clients and third parties
  • Improving commercial success by optimising the performance of information infrastructure

They join an elite group of over 3,000 organisations who are currently NSAI-certified in a variety of areas such as Quality Management Systems, Environmental Management Systems, Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems and Energy Management.

Joe Haugh, CEO of Zenith Technologies said: “We at Zenith are proud to mark this significant achievement. It validates our capability as a provider of information related services into the regulated healthcare environment. It provides us with a solid approach to cyber security as we expand into IoT and Life Sciences 4.0.”

Speaking at the ceremony, NSAI Chief Executive Geraldine Larkin said achieving certification to world class business standards will give these organisations an advantage – both at home and abroad.

Minister Pat Breen highlighted the real business value of investing in standards. “Certification to international business standards will be crucial in a post Brexit environment. It will also give you that competitive edge when seeking opportunities in new markets,” he added.
