Working primarily within the life science sector, and being integral to many of the top pharmaceutical and biotech companies, Zenith Technologies set out to document our contribution to the industry in 2016.
Every day, we help our customers in their goal to manage patient conditions, prevent illnesses and save lives through drug development and delivery to market. However, one of the key challenges we face at Zenith Technologies is explaining what part we play in the drug delivery journey and the value we deliver to our customers in terms of meeting their business objectives and patient requirements.
In a nutshell, Zenith Technologies delivers software engineering projects and manufacturing IT support to life science companies on a global scale. Working across multiple sites and our 16 offices, we set up teams, manage services and provide the right people to deliver global projects – ranging from project conception right through to support and end of project life. Our people work both on-site and remotely to ensure manufacturing projects are implemented smoothly. The value we deliver is our people and the skills they possess in life science manufacturing software.
Our contribution in 2016
This infographic provides a snapshot of some of our key achievements last year within the life science market. In 2016 we successfully completed 835 projects for life science companies, and within these projects our engineers booked an impressive 932,236 hours of project delivery time. We supported and implemented technology across six key areas including distributed control system (DCS), programmable logic controller (PLC) & supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA), process analytical technology (PAT), serialization, historian, manufacturing execution system (MES) technology and other legacy systems.
We are also proud to have hired a significant number of skilled engineers in 2016, growing our headcount by more than 25%. This growth is set to continue into 2017 and beyond.
In terms of our services output we now support 6 life science companies with their global manufacturing IT business objectives, ensuring their systems maintain a validated state and provide continuous improvement._
As well as growing our engineering knowledge base through expansion, we have also gained industry recognition for our commitment to looking after our employees and contractors. This includes the Deloitte Best Managed Companies Award and the Great Place to Work accolade. Finally, although we pride ourselves on our vendor independence and customer-led software selection, during 2016 we formed strategic partnerships with Werum, Kepware, GE Healthcare Life Sciences and Sea Vision to strengthen our business offering and knowledge in these areas.
We would like to take the opportunity to thank our customers for helping us to achieve so much during 2016. From everyone at Zenith Technologies, we look forward to continuing our journey with you and wish our customers every success in 2017.
