Operational Engineering

Introduction

Zenith Engineering is a subsidiary of Zenith Technologies and provides operational engineering services to the Pharma, Biotech & Process Industries. The company is based in the existing Zenith Technologies locations in US, Singapore, Ireland and UK and provides services in the following areas:

Operational Readiness

In parallel with the design, construction, validation and start-up of new facilities Zenith Technologies can assist customers in getting their engineering information prepared in the right format to enable fully functioning business systems at start-up.
Services offered include the full project management (using a Technical Integration Roadmap) of the engineering readiness project as well as executing individual elements e.g. engineering spares assessments, criticality assessments, data builds for maintenance systems etc. Investing time in this during design phase will enable a faster start-up and leaner, more objective maintenance, calibration and inventory holding programmes.

Engineering Information Management

We can provide a full managed service for the ongoing maintenance and upkeep of all types of engineering information eg CAD drawings, O&M libraries, calibration records, training manuals.
In partnership with Intergraph, Zenith Technologies can now also offer full project service to convert to intelligent systems and manage these systems on an on-going basis afterwards. Have a demonstrated ability to work across multiple offices on same project using latest thin client technologies - are using this to create seamless project teams across Ireland, US, Singapore and India and thus reduce overall cost.

Utility & Energy Solutions

We can provide alternative solutions in the supply of utilities and energy -

• Packaged utility plant for chilled water, steam & air to reduce capital cost
• Provision of utilities on a commodity basis ie assets owned by Zenith Technologies
• Innovative energy reduction solutions such as small scale CHP and waste heat recovery systems.
• Agent for a number of manufacturers of utility plant and power generation/recovery systems.
• Remote monitoring and O&M service for supplied utility plants

Implementation of minor capital projects

Typically minor capital projects are done by site based teams of permanent and contract staff as it would be uneconomic and technically unfeasible to execute via the normal external AE model utilised on larger projects.
Zenith Technologies can offer a full managed service for site based minor capital projects. Being an established systems integrator Zenith Technologies is unique in offering a full project delivery service with one company.
We can also provide a full project management, design and CM service for larger automation upgrade projects involving elements of field instrumentation redesign/replacement - avoiding need to employ a separate AE firm for these work elements.

Other Managed Services

Using our expertise in Integrated Engineering systems, validation, operational readiness and automation we can quickly set up planned maintenance, calibration and inventory management programmes. In addition we can provide resources and managed services to execute these programmes.
