Zenith Technologies attend Business Leaders Lunch

An Taoiseach Enda Kenny delivered his first address as Taoiseach in the US at a Business Leaders lunch in Washington D.C. on Wednesday the 16th March 2011. The speech was a ringing endorsement that Ireland is open for business and the full text of his speech is here. A group of approximately 250 Irish and American business leaders attended this lunch and approximately 40 attended the Enterprise Ireland hosted eLearning Roundtable the next day, St. Patrick's Day. Enterprise Ireland are the government organization responsible for the development and growth of Irish enterprises in international markets and had invited guest speaker Elliott Masie of the Masie Foundation. He gave an excellent presentation on what are likely future trends of learning and the particular strengths that Irish companies could bring to this future such as rich design creativity and multilingual ability.

Many established as well as up and coming Irish eLearning companies attended this eLearning event as well as prominent US learning and development companies also. One US client of Zenith Technologies who attended was Donna Steele, Performance Development Manager at Talecris Biotherapeutics in North Carolina. She is pictured second from right in the photograph above. Talecris Biotherapeutics last year purchased a customized Process Simulation solution from Zenith Technologies that enables detailed simulation of their manufacturing recipes. This new method of learning vastly reduces training costs and greatly enhances Process Operator competence and confidence before producing live batches of product. All learner results are tracked and stored in a secure on-line system customized by Zenith Technologies.
